Performance Fee For Service

HAI's vast expertise in performing arts production will suit arts and entertainment needs of both non and for profits. HAI's track-record as successful producers of entertainment and cultural events has been based on the belief that the performing arts can uplift and inspire. Live performance perfectly matched to your event can set a mood, create an image, and form connections - outcomes that can be invaluable when considering your event. We would like to share our commitment to the arts with your organization, thereby giving you twice as much for your dollar: coordination of all aspects of entertainment for your event, and support of live performing arts experiences for individuals who have been shut out of the cultural mainstream.

For nearly 40 years we have been booking over 200 events per month (almost 50,000 bookings) - live performances in all types of health related settings. Since our audiences represent quite a cross section of people, we book a diverse variety of performances; from Asian dance to Zydeco with a lot of Klezmer, classical and rock `n roll thrown in for good measure. We've booked a musical saw player. We've booked a cajun cellist. We've brought Whoopi to Rikers Island, Chaka Khan to Manhattan Psychiatric Center and Anna Moffo to the Isabella Geriatic Center.

For over 33 years HAI has brought the healing role of the arts to disabled, disadvantaged and elderly individuals. Among the various services offered by HAI, the Performance Program represents HAI's beginnings. HAI's performance coordinators schedule about 2,500 performances each year by professional, paid artists representing all performing arts disciplines. To accomplish this mission, HAI performance coordinators have built a network of reliable and talented artists whom they have met through auditions and audits. They have gained a level of expertise in the field of arts and entertainment production that is positively unsurpassed.

By using HAI as your performance presenter, you will have the unique opportunity to get the very best in arts and entertainment, while reaping the benefits of giving back to your community and our city's underserved at no extra cost.
